Our Story

We built it because
we needed it ourselves.

Echo was created while running Meshpoints, a $10M philanthropic initiative by the Spacecubed Foundation supporting Western Australia's innovation ecosystem.

Managing this programme meant coordinating more than 180 partners, running grant rounds, assessing applications, tracking project milestones, and reporting outcomes to our funders and community.

We tried spreadsheets, CRMs, and traditional grant management tools. None of them handled the full picture.

So we built our own system.

Over several years, that internal tool evolved into the operational backbone of our programmes. As other organisations and programme operators saw it in action, they began asking if they could use it too. That system became Echo.

Built inside
14 years of impact.

Echo was built inside Spacecubed — a B Corp and Western Australia's leading innovation hub, with 14 years as an impact organisation at the heart of the WA startup and social enterprise ecosystem.

Spacecubed operates FLUX, Perth's largest coworking space, and runs a range of programmes that support founders, startups, and social enterprises across the state.

Through initiatives like Meshpoints and the WA Innovation Ecosystem Navigator, Spacecubed works at the intersection of community, capital, and innovation. Echo was originally developed to support this work and is now evolving into a standalone platform for impact organisations, foundations, and program operators.
